Pros
Good level of benefit that includes share scheme, pension, bonus and merit rises. FTSE 100 company with recognition. Open to move you around to different departments for learning and development opportunities. Managers in the company tend to have been there for many years and have a good level of experience and knowledge of the company.
Cons
Location in Watford is difficult to commute to and often traffic builds up around the surrounding town. There are inconsistent ways of working and recognition for work when its above standard. For example, some teams work from home on Fridays or are a lot more flexible with it, and others are not. This creates an unfair feel in the environment. Also, when an employee goes beyond its difficult to gauage what is beyond to receive any recognition rewards. The company does not feel agile and requires a lot of sign-off and approval for projects. Due to cost-cutting measures, travel budget is limited and projects are cut. These cuts, make it difficult to build good working relationships with stakeholders globally and to get a stronger understanding of the business.
