Pros
Generally kind, passionate and brilliant people below the SVP & C-level
Cons
Initially I had a degree of trust in SoSafe, as the people are generally brilliant, kind and passionate. However over time it became clear that the tree is dying from the top down, where the C-level is some of the worst leadership I have ever seen.
The founders and CEO have no idea about the core business, or the reality of the solution set and are operating completely blind. They are often the butt of the joke internally, and entirely unsuited to run the company. There is no strategy, and it appears to operate on the whim of the CEO. Are we mountaineers, race car drivers or sailors? The solution is very far behind competitors.
The CRO is especially bad, who has bought too many awards for himself. Some of the worst fiscal responsibility ever practiced, flying the whole org to the Canary Islands, renting out a resort, flying out Lou Bega to perform to then restructure and initiate large scale layoffs 5 months later.
The culture is horrible. Huge amounts of burn out across all departments, and most departments actively work against each other.
