Pros
- Incredibly talented creative team - Incredibly talented strategy team - Incredibly talented paid team - Leadership team is making a lot of headway implementing new processes and improving company culture. The new MD is so down to earth, open to feedback and constantly looking for ways to improve day-to-day operations. I can honestly say I have never worked at a company where the executive team involves mid-level staff in cultural improvement discussions. They also hold Town Hall meetings where everyone can express any concerns and ask questions pertaining to the state of the company, new policies and procedures etc. Across every department, everyone is always willing to help one another. Legit can't say enough about how nice everyone is. Not fake nice, but actually nice. There is also room to grow. If you express interest in another department, they will do what they can to get you experience in that department. Not an easy decision to leave, but in the end I decided to go freelance for a while.
Cons
Work/life balance did take a hit once we went fully remote due to Covid. It was a combination of me not setting boundaries and the company not having adequate staffing. It was companywide, not just me. Once SF can figure out how to balance client/staff distribution, they will have everything set for a great work environment.
