Pros
I've been lucky enough to work at Socrates for over 2 years now and have had the privilege to grow with the company and been empowered to heavily impact the product, roadmap, strategy, and many other areas of the company. I have worked for many companies in the past, both large and small, and can say beyond any doubt that I made the right decision to join the Socrates Family. It's rare to work for a company where the employees are encouraged to give honest, robust feedback and it is actually heard and acted upon. - Best company culture I've ever been lucky enough to be a part of and work alongside some of the smartest people I've ever worked with - Supportive work/life balance through a work/life integration mindset - Leadership seems to truly, genuinely care about employees and their wellbeing. - Huge opportunities to be involved in very strategic projects that heavily impact the company strategy and the course of the company - It's a fast-paced, always changing environment with many opportunities for learning and advancement....constantly evolving and never boring - Partner with exciting clients and truly impact the life of the end-users (employees) - Everyone works together regardless of title/roll - from the executive team down, everyone rolls up their sleeves and gets the job done - The Socrates AI Technology is lightyears ahead of the competition - Extremely solid benefits and compensation package
Cons
Socrates is a very fast-growing company with a lean, effective team, which means that you don't benefit from the massive resources and budget common at larger companies. This makes it imperative that employees be skillful and effective with the resources available to get the job done.
