Being around live music and exciting energy.

Cons

You do not get paid fairly. You are a W9 contractor asked to work unpaid hours. Sofar charges for their marketing and production services and then splits the proceeds 50/50 with local producers who do 90% of the work. Zero support from the company. They charge $30+ per ticket and pay the bands only $100 for performing, They don't pay the venues. They inflate their bottom line before the split.
