Pros
- Genuine, empathetic, fun, and caring people at all levels - Tremendous work/life balance - Amazing support for people of all walks of life via resource groups and the pervasive culture of inclusiveness that defines Softchoice. - A willingness to invest in people and the tools to help them be more efficient at their jobs. - Softchoice is quick to react to market trends with new offers to clients.
Cons
- It can still be difficult to quickly build multi-discipline proposals. - Sales can be too transactionally driven. The focus for sales needs to shift to a longer view, such as quarterly or half-year. - Sales reps have too many key vendors. They need to drastically reduce their core vendor list to give those vendors the majority of sellers' time & effort. Let some periphery vendors go away or setup specific inside sales teams to handle those vendors.
