Pros
It is only GCS HR which has always been employee friendly despite so much disaster in GCS management. Ensures each of the employee's concerns are taken in most friendly manner and provides a comfort zone to hear / listen to employees. Despite all the dirty politics, absolute rude & arrogant behaviour, highly uncultured & uncivilized approach by GCS management, HR has always come forward to tackle these issues where management has played devil's advocate. HR has alwasy ensured basic HR principles at work place are present and not allowing GCS management to take overall arrogant control & stand. Hats off to HR initiatives to welcome past employees, stay in touch with ex-employees to understand their current career & if possible always approachable to resolve any pending finance / accounts issue. I wish HR always remain strong wall against some indisciplined, arrogant and uncivilized GCS SVPs and VPs and always work selflessly for the best interests of humans and employees!
Cons
GCS India HR needs to act as pure people function and take overall control of any people management. GCS Global or Regional management has consistently proved to be always bringing disrepute to SoftwareAG as organization due to worst kind of policies adopted. And to clean this entire system, GCS HR has to take some important touch stands and calls to eradicate this kind of uncivilized culture and dirty politics by handful of worst people.
