Pros
Great at giving time for skills development. Can establish relationships with clients which gives a sense of job security as that relationship matures. Benefits are better than average.
Cons
No advancement opportunity. Supervisors gave clear benchmarks to achieve for promotion and when I achieved those numbers they refused the promotion. They would rather let an employee leave and risk a contract than give a few extra bucks a month for a promotion and new job title - makes no sense, and shows insanity of upper management. Considering the amount of travel required, salary is rather low.
