9yFirstly - thank you for the feedback and expressing these thoughts and perspectives - I am obviously sorry that you feel this way and that we could not porvide the right environment for you longer term. I fully acknowledge the company is changing as part of growth and change is never easy - nor perfect, however I would like to believe we will learn from this type of feedback and develop more positively.
Compensation is an important and emotional topic and obviously it has different significance to different people. We are one of the few companies that involve all of our employees in designing our compensation plan and whilst it is not perfect, we strive for it to meet our guiding principles - fair & equitable, promotes performance, enables company sucess and rewards high performance. We also pride ourselves on the reward beyond compensation with intiatives like President's Club, Funded Lunches, Flexible Working. Having said that I will take your commentd to our annual review and look at them closely with the team - for which I am grateful.
Obviously it's great that you have learned a lot from your time with us - buildinga successful company does mean we have to go above and beyond often and I am sure you have done this. I hope for & wish you every success in using your development to further your career in your next role.
It's unfortunate that you did not feel that the current leadership set up could further harness your skills however, if you have the time and would be open to it, I would very much appreciate hearing more detailed feedback on this and any other topics above so we can review this more closely and improve - in full confidence - john.mayes@softwareone.com
Best regards,
John
