Great dedicated people, fun to be around, highly technical and required out-of-box thinking. I got to work on advanced projects as part of "future think" on product topologies and designs two and three years out.
Cons
Remnants sold to SunPower -- we couldn't make enough profit to stay independent. Was part of RIF that caused a downsize of ~ 50% or better over time if I understand properly what transpired. But on to bigger and better things!
You work with a lot of very talented people. Collaboration is usually productive and can be a little inspiring at times. Great pay and benefits. Great group of engineers. Still a small company and you get to see things grow and progress.
Cons
Most of the times the work you put into something goes unrecognized unless it benefits one of the executives directly. The person running the HR dept. is a complete mess. There is always personal drama being brought in which is very unprofessional and during my time there I learned things about other employees I should have never known. It made me uncomfortable to share any information and I was only a contractor.
