Have to put in the work - Account Executive Soliant Health Employee Review

Pros

Everyone is very supportive of one another even though your colleagues are your competition. They help keep motivation and morale up very well, I haven’t met a coworker who isn’t supportive of my success. There is an unlimited opportunity for growth with the uncapped commission. This position is really nice for new grads looking to get their foot in the door in the business world.

Cons

Management micromanages. If you have an off week, expect your supervisor to check on you and “set you straight”. PTO is also accrued (you get less than 4 hours every 2 weeks), which means new hires have absolutely no PTO. You also don’t get sick days, meaning you have to use PTO in the case that you’re sick.

Thank you for taking the time to review us. We appreciate the feedback to better understand areas we can improve and areas working well. We are happy to see you are enjoying the team's culture. In regards to the benefits, these are standard across most companies in regards to PTO accrument and sick days bundled into PTO. As we are always looking for ways to improve, we do value your feedback on our currently offered benefits package and if you want to voice your concerns further, please email hr@soliant.com.

Pros

Met some good friends and bonded over shared trauma

Cons

The salary is a misery, there are absolutely no incentives starting at 2% commission - for about a year, commission per month will be about $100 at the very best and yet they lie about first year OTE being about $15k. You’re also encouraged and expected to work over 40 hours a week even though there’s absolutely no incentives to do so and berated when you work what you should: The company has insanely high attrition and turnover rates. The majority of the company is under a year and actively trying to leave. One of their biggest problem is management; the majority of managers should not be in their positions. There’s a toxic culture of pettiness and arrogance. Do not expect to grow professionally at all-I was doing the exact same job as a manager who had been there for almost 10 years. Do not expect to feel supported or heard by any of the higher ups-they actively implements an alarming amount of changes without asking AEs first and then, when they don’t work, they make even more changes. Overall, if you can avoid working at this company, you should. It is a horrible place that preys on new graduates that have limited opportunities.
