My Time at Soliant (So far!) - Department Manager Soliant Health Employee Review

Pros

Great training for new hires, culture is very celebratory and supportive (we work hard, but it is recognized, the route to success is laid out in your first interview and a raise is completely in your hands- you don't ask for it, but it is rewarded based on accomplishing goals standardized for everyone, many opportunities for those interested in leadership, and so much more.

Cons

Although this is not a con for me, it could be for some: this is not a work from home (wfh) job. There are wfh benefits down the line, but if you're looking for a position based on that qualifier, this is not the position for you.

Pros

Met some good friends and bonded over shared trauma

Cons

The salary is a misery, there are absolutely no incentives starting at 2% commission - for about a year, commission per month will be about $100 at the very best and yet they lie about first year OTE being about $15k. You’re also encouraged and expected to work over 40 hours a week even though there’s absolutely no incentives to do so and berated when you work what you should: The company has insanely high attrition and turnover rates. The majority of the company is under a year and actively trying to leave. One of their biggest problem is management; the majority of managers should not be in their positions. There’s a toxic culture of pettiness and arrogance. Do not expect to grow professionally at all-I was doing the exact same job as a manager who had been there for almost 10 years. Do not expect to feel supported or heard by any of the higher ups-they actively implements an alarming amount of changes without asking AEs first and then, when they don’t work, they make even more changes. Overall, if you can avoid working at this company, you should. It is a horrible place that preys on new graduates that have limited opportunities.
