Pros
Superficially good employee relations, benefits bonuses the general package is quite encouraging. Incentivisation is generally thoughtful and effective. My colleagues were generally pleasant many that I shall keep in touch with. The product practically sells it's self great PD on the whole.
Cons
To many generals to few troops, everyone is the manager of something. Engagement seems superficial you are constantly asked for opinion and feedback as soon as you give it (really don't bother this is a step to make you feel better nobody wants your advice or feedback,) you have made a whole load of trouble leading to my own pet hate office politics. This drove me from the company as with fast paced growth comes the backroom dealing for promotion or advancement before any proper analysis is done in terms of skill and real world effectiveness. HR seem more preoccupied with other things than the concerns of staff (No exit interview for me, guess someone was at lunch. or did not want the information I was about to provide.) Zero scope to increase my training or advance professionally in my field the second reason I am now signing on with a different employer who will enable that. Modern IT needs constant study and professional development to stay ahead of the game this is not done at Sonos.
