Pros
Most of the people are genuinely pleasant, reasonable people. In particular, IT is a tight-knit, skilled team that carries the company. The general work environment is characterized by a friendly, casual atmosphere (although it is more focused on appearances than substance).
Cons
The level of chaos, lack of organizational stability and spastic day to day business processes are only made worse by a capricious, ill-tempered, and incapable CEO. And once you get past the casual, time-wasting Slack channels, you'll find a world of back-biting, territorialism and lack of business acumen. Also, the financials are NOT good; the company is barely solvent and overly dependent upon a *single contract* for the bulk of its revenue. Lack of real leadership and a clear inability to recognize market trends do not bode well for Soomo.
