Pros

-Good for beginner for a year or two, not for professional -Basic sales training provided by a college grad who doesn't have any sales experience -Many openings as the company grow

Cons

-Below average pay, you might see your commission not for another year based on the commission structure. -Micromanaging and distrust by management -Mid level manager and c level people have no experience and no authority. -No real go to market strategy, just hire as many sales in each city as possible and make as much noise and money as possible. -benefits are below average -Promotions are driven by favoritism and seniority

Pros

The people. A job, and ultimately a career is built by the people you work with, and SG has some of the most amazing people I have ever worked with or for. I am inspired by the hard work of my colleagues here who constantly challenge me to be my best. Everyone here is in a position to contribute beyond their job description, which (to me) makes every day interesting and keeps me motivated. Working with teams across the globe.

Cons

As an organization still very much in the entrepreneurial phase, prospective employees need to consider how much structure they need or are used to. While I personally thrive in less structured, more agile environments, it's not for everyone. We often have to roll up our sleeves and get work done that other, larger, companies often have big teams to assist with. But you have to like owning what you do every day, and knowing that your personal contributions are making a real difference every day. Time zone challenges, too, sometimes are tough to manage.
