Pros
Luxurious and intellectual environment, kind and intelligent, highly educated colleagues, prestigious clients, beautiful building and nice offices; excellent salary and interesting subjects of research. Travel and gifts from clients are a bonus. Also the fact that intellectual accomplishments are valued. The employer publishes its own magazine and values employee publications. I wish I did not leave the company for family reasons - it is a dream job full of bright, enthusiastic, kind, personable, thoughtful people.
Cons
Very long working hours on occasion make it difficult to balance work and life away from work. The deadlines can be stressful at times. It may also be difficult to get in.
