Pros
- Riding for free - Relaxed environment - Growth from within - Training programs within the company - Focus on leadership development if you have a boss who is invested in you
Cons
- Work/life balance is a serious struggle- even though they say you don't need to be connected all the time, the underlaying message is you are slacking if you aren't connected 24/7. I have worked 7 days a week at times and 12 hour days - 401K - Opened during hazardous weather conditions putting the lowest paid employees (front desk and cleaning) working at risk and under enormous stress with no upside or additional compensation. - minimal pay increase after year end reviews and huge inconsistencies in salary between people doing the same job - favoritism when it comes to promotions, salary increases and accolades - senior leadership has been inconsistent since the two founders left along with several other C level execs last spring. There have been several VPs and C levels to come in and out in the past year either by choice or termination. The inconsistency in leadership has trickle down effects and has hurt the business and vision.
