Pros
Takes a while to build relationships.
Cons
The pay below industry standard, salary includes your car allowance. They lack a training program and throw you in the deep of work. Leadership is unprofessional and it trickles down to others. Management will tell you they are a family, but they don't care about employees well being/feelings.
The CEO/owner of the company manages through intimidation, versus empowerment. This has a trickle-down effect and impacts every member of the Sound team. He is more concerned about his pocket and keeping his name on University Building. Employees are unhappy and operate from a position of self-preservation (trying not to get in trouble), rather than one of honesty and integrity. Operations are intimidated by leadership through verbal language and body language. Systems are antiquated and there is an aversion to change. There are many good and kind people who work for Sound, Incorporated, but they are not enough to compensate for this very toxic culture. Operations takes the blame for poor Salespeople, who under sell jobs.
