Pros
The work schedule is fairly flexible, especially now with COVID, most of the PMs are thoughtful and understanding, the health coverage and rate (no cost) are good, and projects are decently diverse.
Cons
Poor pay scale and raise structure. Your raises and "bonuses" are tied to your utilization ( which you don't have much control over). The current rates are well below competitive and most of the benefits of working at a small company don't exist anymore. High turnover rate because out of touch CEO making decisions without consulting staff or disregarding staff advice, (previously an ESOP, actually don't know anymore if they still are). Very corporate mindset, "all workers need to be superstars" but they aren't going to reward you or advance you career for that hard work.
