Pros

Gained extensive experience across a wide range of HR topics in a fast-paced environment, working under highly engaged and detail-oriented leadership. Felt motivated to actively support employees and develop new skills. Experienced significant career growth, progressing laterally within the business. Started as a coordinator and advanced to a department leader role within four years.

Cons

While the workload is substantial and can sometimes feel overwhelming, it offers significant opportunities for growth and increased visibility.

Pros

They pay you and the checks clear

Cons

They only attract people desperate enough for work that they'll work in the fossil fuel industry, or people who don't care. Company culture is very right wing, no one wants to speak up about how workers are treated. Company is very unorganized, communication is poor. Maybe a few months into my time there, they threw a birthday party for the VP overseeing our department, and everyone making like 30k was expected to give gifts/money to their boss's boss's boss? Incredibly bizarre. They identify the lowest performer on a team about every quarter and harass them until they have enough documentation to fire them, or that they just quit. By the time it was my turn I got put on a performance improvement plan that had no metrics on it, just "make fewer mistakes" lol. If you need a job work here if you have to but start planning your exit immediately.
