Pros

Pay was okay, but not worth it.

Cons

Antiquated reservation system. Employees deep in Q'anon rabbit hole. Guests angry about rooms not ready at check-in, plumbing, roaches and TVs, but at least they're not passive-aggressive like middle management.

Pros

Some of my fellow front desk agents who have become good friends, seeing the dogs guests would bring, the hotel had good cookies, the pay was okay for the area but nothing great, and I liked the hotel property management system

Cons

Not a living wage, no benefits, favoritism was rampant, the third parties were a nightmare to deal with, they outsourced housekeeping and the housekeepers were routinely worked to the bone for pennies, it's a dead end job with no real opportunities for advancement, and they expected workers to show up while under a hurricane evacuation order. When I refused they tried to punish me with 16 hour shifts. I worked there for nearly two years and that's how they repaid my loyalty to the company. Very disappointing.
