Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are committed to attracting and developing great talent within a challenging and rewarding environment, so we're disappointed to hear about your experiences.
We value and consider all feedback and continuously look for ways to improve, but we wanted to take a moment to address some of your specific concerns.
Our rigorous recruiting process reflects our commitment to hiring the best high-potential talent. Candidates are evaluated based on a combination of assessments and interviews to evaluate cultural fit and technical skills relative to the requirements of the role, as well as overall aptitude for success. Given the market demand for our software (45% of CFOs list "compliance" as their greatest challenge), it can be tough to scale our team growth while maintaining our high standards. Fortunately, thousands of people apply to work at Sovos each year so we can afford to be highly selective!
One of Sovos' top priorities is to ensure we're cultivating our employees' growth. We have invested in a broad portfolio of learning and development opportunities, including functional area bootcamps and summits, a new learning management system (where employees can participate in over 300 free courses), the LEADS and IMPACT leadership development programs, the IDEA mentor program, the CLOUD rotational program, our generous tuition reimbursement benefit, external professional development reimbursement, continuing education for managers, and more. We additionally seek to provide enrichment for the "whole person" through our wellness program, consisting of social events, lunch & learns, volunteer time off, charitable donation matching, social responsibility programs, and more.
Simultaneously, we seek wherever possible to promote internal talent, preferring to fill open positions with current Sovos employees. Over 175 of Sovos' 750 employees experienced career growth this past year, through promotions or new roles. Based on this stat, we're not surprised that, on a recent survey, "growth" and "potential" were two of the most common words that employees used to describe the company. We are sorry to hear that these opportunities for growth did not meet your expectations.
Thank you again for taking the time to share your opinion. We wish you all the best in your future endeavors.
