Pros
Benefits package. perks, and educational reimbursements.
Cons
Beware. This really is career catfishing at it's best. The people that interview you are charming and convincing that working for Soylent is great. They give you this whole speech about the culture and the work/home life balance--- IT IS ALL A LIE. Give it a month or less and you will realize the huge mistake you made. The CEO and the higher ups are not to be trusted. You are micromanaged every second of the day. Get ready to not be trained whatsoever. Get ready to log your tasks daily and then be questioned on it. Get ready to not have life outside of work and expected to be available nights and weekends. Get ready to be told by your managers that you are doing a great job only to be let go or to be put on probation. Turn over always happens every 6 months within every department. Soylent will say all the negative reviews just bitter/ disgruntled employees and that is far from the truth. Soylent has a huge culture issue and is run by people who instill fear in its employees. This was the worst career move I made. RUN IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION OF THIS PLACE. I BEG YOU DO NOT DO IT. Oh! And they knowingly send expired product to customers. Go look at the reddit posts. Consumers have caught on yet Soylent still chooses to willingly send it.
