Good Place to Work - Product Manager SpaceIQ Employee Review

Pros

-Flexible working (WFH/remote working available & this was well before Covid) -Good team(s) to work & collaborate with & staff are generally relaxed & helpful -APAC has a great social club & always looking to set up events (nowadays though during Covid & lockdowns it has been focused more on online events which is understandable) -Mgmt & HR care about the health & well-being of staff & just the little things they do to show they care like sending small care packages to staff during lockdowns, it's nice.

Cons

-There are times when it can get full on with the workload & hours can be long (jumping from one project to the next) however that's the same with most other businesses/roles. Just have to take advantage of the occasional times when it's not as busy. -Company & teams are spread across multiple regions so when it comes to meetings & collaborations it may take new staff members some time getting used to having some early morning or late evening meetings to account for the different time zones.

Pros

Half day Fridays. Okay benefits.

Cons

Horrible leadership and management. No support for SDR team and everything is disorganized from Salesforce to your leads down. Truly a make it up as they go along. JMI ( investment firm) only cares about bottom line not about the people. Two mergers in a year with little planning. Purely a pump and dump company. Eptura (SpaceIQ + iOffice) is a decent product in an overly saturated market. No path to promotion or raises and will lie to get you on board or to keep you on. Sales leadership openly admitted to handcuffing SDR’s, since it’s nearly impossible to break into AE/AM role without an internal promotion. Promotions only given after many reps left. Horrible experience and company. No training, no advancement, no support. Do not take this job. There are so many better companies out there to be an SDR at. Take my advice as someone who experienced it so you don’t have to!
