Pros

- Company loves AI so much that if your personality is embodied in AI you will get far. - Airbnb trips with your team gives great opportunities to learn a little too much about your coworkers. - Ship-and-iterate-maybe methodology means never being plagued by doubt. - Guiding Principles document clearly laid out in the company's career page so you know what you are getting yourself into.

Cons

- Average tenure at the company is about 1.5 years, most people don't make it past a year, many fail probation, lots of burn and churn - Recent layoffs wiped out many. The company has reverted back to a sausage fest. Morale is at an all time low - Leadership is a lot of people who's only job/majority of experience has been this company. As a result, it's usually the Spare way or the highway. Other more experienced people in leadership, who've worked elsewhere before, have already left the company

Pros

Smart, dedicated teammates. Fulfilling work, your work can directly affect the communities' most vulnerable populations

Cons

Burnout is real. Spare likes to give off the feeling that they care about work life, but they expect a lot out of each role. So much to a point where you feel like you're on an island without the right tools to circumnavigate off the island.
