- Poor management (IT leadership in Australia basically have no say in any decisions) & no transparency - No strategic direction, a lot of systems should not be existent still do due to political reasons or incompetency - Don't expect to learn much as there are more discussions happening than actual work being done - No career growth as there are no clear KPIs for promotion & leadership is very unorganized. Once you have worked here for long, you will be stuck as the technology you will be using in Specsavers are at least a decade old and it makes future job hunting difficult. - Average age & tenure in Specsavers are high, different teams/departments are very protective of their work making it sometimes hard to get information or even work with them
