Shocking culture- TOXIC , no flexibility as there is an absence of trust. Leadership goes through various ‘epiphanies’ -redundancies, new roles, restructures, getting a few ‘old mates’ and ‘mates of mates’ into roles. Some recent hires questionable… The top leadership doesn’t seem to have conviction in decision making has to consult with many internal and external stakeholders before deciding. In other cases (when suited) decisions are made swiftly and without consultation, just arrogance, power trips and ignorance. Definitely a fear culture and ‘favourites’ are rewarded. The fear culture drives insecurity and paranoia, resulting in poor behaviours constantly unleashed by all levels of team members as they are afraid to go against the grain or express an opinion. A true boys club and I’m male! Unfortunately HR department has zero influence and merely executes what they are told- this has been saga for years with previous HR team members and current.
