Pros
The line staff are good people who try their best and want to do a good job for the community and their partners.
Cons
Everything else. For the most part, supervision & management is terribly incompetent and the organization truly does not care about its employees. Nepotism is big here within management and making difficult, but correct decisions, is elusive for most supervisors and managers. The supervision mantra is typically, “Do as I say - not as I do.” Also, there is a refusal within the organization to let efficiency interfere with the bureaucracy of running a dysfunctional organization. This organization embodies the stereotype of inefficiency due to their insistence of mandating multi-layers of bureaucracy to ensure job security; thereby mandating inefficiency and incompetence. The most dysfunctional organization I’ve ever been associated with due to poor supervision and management.
