Pros
Loose/casual "corporate structure"
Cons
It appears that the business model is hire at the lowest wage possible and rely on high turnover after 1-2 years. Compensation is not very competitive across the board, it doesn't matter what position you're in, whether it is corporate, bike mechanic or floor staff. Not giving raises despite employees hard work, dedication, and high competency seems built into the corporate structure. Benefits for FTEs are dismal If you're looking for a career go elsewhere, this is a job. It's retail, so the store must be open close to 365 days. There are only a few holidays that SB recognizes so don't expect to get paid holiday pay for all of them. Heads up if you work in corporate you're expected to work on the floor on a regular basis.
