False impression of working for industry "leader" and building "innovative" solutions.
Cons
Slaves to their investors who couldn't care less about technology or people.
Instead of investing in technology, people and improving their products they prefer to use capital money to buy-out smaller competitors, get rid of "redundant" engineers, push new responsibilities onto existing teams and simply shuffle clients between products if something fails.
Predatory financial vessel that pretends to be a tech company.
When I first started the company was very big on growth opportunities and training, but as time went on more and more pressure was added without additional support. They did at the time offer private insurance and extra holiday in the summer, but I am not sure if that's the case now.
Cons
Company culture was unfortunately very alcoholic, and office politics could make otherwise simple tasks a nightmare. A lack of formal structure for things like office management and disability adaptations meant it really depended on which team you were on and how busy your boss was.
