Pros

I can literally think of no pro behind working for this company. The location's central and the lobby has good air conditioning. Aside from that, there is nothing good to speak of about this organization or its people.

Cons

This company is the reason my hairline receded in my early twenties. The office is filled with, as another colleague put it, "the has-beens and never-was" of publishing in New York City. The CFO is a raving, screaming lunatic with an anger issue, and the CEO is out to lunch. No one is at the helm, and the publisher will commit just about anything to print. There's no room for growth, if your heart can even take the stress of working with such angry, hot-headed people.

Pros

Very happy in my department. The management I work with is open to new ideas and has committed to making improvements in processes. There has been a lot of advancement since I started here a few years ago, showing that it’s more than just talk.

Cons

Definitely does things differently than other publishers, but that isn’t always a bad thing
