Great Place to Get Started - Anonymous employee Sprite Entertainment Employee Review

Sprite is every inch a cool, boutique animation studio. It's a small team in-house, but it's a tightly knit and very creative group and there are lots of opportunities to learn and wear multiple hats for those who are interested. My years there have been invaluable in helping prepare me for the next stage of my career.

Boutique studios can have their downsides, in that limited staff can mean limited resources to tackle production setbacks when they arise, but management has demonstrated its willingness to implement solutions (hiring help, etc.) when this happens.

Their work is cool and interesting. They have a pretty awesome automated pipeline with lots of tools.

No internet for most of their employees. I guess they do not trust you. Only one computer monitor for artists even though they developed a lot of tools which are useful but take up screen space. The one monitor you get isn't even that big, definitely not larger than 24 inch. Supervisors would most of the time work 18 hour days.
