Pros
It's a challenging and supportive work environment, with interesting project material, flexible hours, and the ability to work from home. Few developers and a variety of projects mean quickly getting non-trivial experience with a lot of modern technologies. Owners and management are very reasonable and value a healthy work-life balance. Benefits are good.
Cons
Lots of projects and relatively few developers can sometimes mean a lot of context switching. Also, while the pay is good for full-time employee work in Portland, if you're used to a SF salary then you'll have to lower your expectations.
