Pros
Get an opportunity to work first hand with clients with severe intellectual disabilities. They are a joy to work with.
Cons
Low salary, has been increased in years. The union is a joke as they have no clout with management. There is no due process on alleged investigations, hence you can lose your job Aust the drop of a hat if someone decides they want to let you go, staff and management alike. The clinical team are there to collect a paycheck add there is no real emphasis on evidence approach bx change. There's little room for growth. I could on and on, but I'll leave it there.
