Pros

Large organization with a wide reach in the community

Cons

- Poor Leadership - You are required to use PTO for all federally recognized holidays, which can drain your balance faster than expected. - Compensation has not kept up with the rising cost of living in the Treasure Valley, especially in non‑clinical roles. - Maternity leave is limited compared to other healthcare systems, and many employees end up using PTO or unpaid time to bridge the gap. - Large‑system bureaucracy slows down decision‑making, and simple processes are made overly complicated. - Communication between leadership and frontline/non‑clinical staff can feel disconnected, with priorities not always matching day‑to‑day realities. - Workload can be heavy, especially during staffing shortages, and burnout is a common

Pros

Training and education, opportunities, opportunities to work, different roles in Pharmacy outside of just retail or impatient, working for a nonprofit, sense of community based off the work you do

Cons

Hey, is below local market and industry standard. Required to use St. Luke’s health plan and can only fill at St. Luke’s pharmacies. Management struggles to have boundaries with their employees, punishing versus training can occur more often than not, policies are handled, and reviewed loosely, HR and management are not on the same page, you cannot trust the information you receive from either.
