Pros
Pros are they pay a quarterly bonus, IF you meet the set production goals which aren't achievable with the current number of production workers. There is an end of year bonus of 2k for employees that have been employed for more than 6 months under 2 years. It goes up after that, at what rate I couldn't say. Other bonuses are they have a shooting range on premis but as an employee that helped them move from Georgetown to Florence I wasn't able to use the range for personal use for over 6 months until I left. I'm sure one day after a brief training course it will have a schedule for personal use etc. That's about it.
Cons
Lots of cons but ill only name a few. First, if you work In the office area and are not a part of the production team then this has nothing to do with you as I'm sure you love to work at Staccato. If you're a production worker don't expect much. I was an exceptional employee who made excellent parts and kept my area clean, maintained my machines and even enacted routines that are now standard practice at staccato but ultimately I was constantly berated, talk down to and just plain verbally abused on a daily basis. I was told weekly by my direct shift lead that "if you don't quit you have no b****..." and even worse. I raised many complaints to my floor manager and HR who did nothing. Expect no help from anybody unless you're willing to sucomb to the "lifestyle" they promote. I tried for 2 years to move up in the company applying for multiple positions that I was over qualified for and was never even offered an interview after watching multiple employees, some of which who have parents working in higher positions, get promoted to positions they where under qualified to handle. Staccato is too new to be a good company. They spent 27 million dollars on the new facilities and I never saw more than a .30 cent raise in all my time there. I made $20.70 as a full time operator working 6am-4pm 4 days a week and 6am-12pm on Fridays. I barely made enough to pay my rent in Leander plus expenses which doubled after they moved. I was told to expect Fridays off and a dollar raise after the first 6 months. They will lie to you to get you in the door, after that it's on you to realize they are only using you. It's a shame because I really enjoy making guns but this place is more focused on the image they maintain than taking care of the people who pour thier entire lives into making sure the product they sell meet the standards they potray. To be honest, they don't. I would never spend 3k on a Staccato. Especially not a CS. Take this for what it is, my opinion. If you get an office job I'm sure you will love it but if you're one of the guys working hard to make the parts they sell, it won't be a great time.
