Cons
If you're passionate at all about food quality safety- then you should run. Management doesn't care if the product is over the safe food handling temp as long as they hit the numbers. QA will ask you to lie on paperwork. The absolute worst thing is the nepotism. Completely under qualified employees who do nothing but hang around upstairs or outside are quickly promoted to team leads if their mom dad uncle or cousin is in management. Also HR lady has a very obvious crush on the plant manager. Recently a blender there on a work visa lost three fingers in the blending room removing product in the way they were trained to do in order to get product out faster. Management doesn't care. Sometimes people steal your lunch if you leave it in the fridge in the break room- even if your name is on it. Even if you try really hard and deserve it and based on union rules you're next in line for a higher paid position-itll go to management's friends or family who just started weeks ago.
