There is a relaxed attitude to uniform.
Cons
- Area management unconcerned with staff well being, they'll visit the shop and ignore staff and only speak to the manager.
- No exit interviews offered to staff even when there is an exodus of employees, again unconcerned with staff morale.
- Shops kept to minimum hours so long periods of lone working
- Claim to operate 'rota fair' but no regional/head office oversight of rotas to ensure this, even when complaints are made and promises to look in to it are given, nothing happens.
- No investment in IT. Hardware is appalling, crashes constantly and makes working on the shop floor very difficult.
- A general sense that there is no investment in the estate at all, shops are shabby and any improvements are made at a shop level at staff expense.
- Little clarity given about future plans for lone working in the evenings which puts members of staff in an uncomfortable position.
