Pros
There are no pros to working at Starlite Media
Cons
The CEO Harold Lueken is the biggest reason to never work at Starlite Media. He is the CEO of a media company and knows nothing - nothing - about media. If the company is not successful it will be because of Harold and if the company is successful it will be in spite of Harold. He is impulsive and quick-tempered. He is inappropriate and unethical - which is perfect for a company with no HR function. If you do join Starlite beware of this. He did this with my team when results were not meeting his expectations - the ability to meet his expectations hindered by his inability to understand how advertising sales works. I refused to do this when I worked for Harold so he had someone else do it. Harold had someone at the company make the IT vendor grant that person access to employees email accounts. He then had that person go in and count the emails the employees had sent over a period of time (and possibly do additional unethical things) and then he had that person send out an email detailing the email activity to senior leadership and board members making unfounded accusations about the work of the employees (must have a second job, not working a full day, stealing from the company, etc). Harold is the worst CEO I've experienced in my career and the culture at Starlite Media is the worst culture I've experienced in my career.
