Pros

* Great People -- welcoming, friendly, and knowledgable. Everyone I met was very upfront about, well, pretty much everything. * Good pay and good benefits * Remote-friendly workplace * The severance wasn't bad! Was actually a lot better than a previous company which I had worked longer for.

Cons

* Every time there's a major management shakeup, or the quarter hasn't financially done well, there's a round of layoffs. * The CEO changed 1 month after I was hired and shortly after that change they laid off 40% of the company. According to longer tenured employees, this was a normal occurrence, and therefore contributed to a culture of unease where nobody knew when it was their turn on the chopping block. * I had somewhat of an idea of this going into the job, but I didn't think it would manifest so quickly, as the messaging was that the company was at a financial place to grow again.
