Pros

friendly server staff for the most part. money is good during holidays only.

Cons

there’s seniority in the server staff that doesn’t allow you to get past being a server. gm is two faced and bad caring for server’s needs. starting off, get ready to watch the rest of the server staff make money while you get a bad section, especially brunch when it’s the busiest. during weekdays you’ll get scheduled just to be sent home after 2 hours or so a waste of time and gas. overall you’re better off applying somewhere else with better opportunities. the nepotism here is obvious as well.

Pros

Working at State Farm as a server was… okay. Tips were decent, and I got to meet a lot of different people, which was cool. Some days were super busy and kinda stressful. Overall, not bad—definitely gave me some solid customer service experience.

Cons

Closing shift process could be faster.
