Pros

The art team is solid and super talented. They will be the best people you will ever work with.

Cons

The CEO does not want to be in charge of a company but does not want to give up any control. He does not trust anyone to do their jobs and frequently undercuts them and takes away their ability to do anything until they are either beaten down into submission or leave the company entirely. He also frequently changes his mind and cannot give clear direction as to what he wants to see and, ultimately, he'll do it himself in the end, painting over or editing the work of others without their knowledge. The marketing team is huge for how small the company is and how ineffective their marketing style is. Most social media post are lazy and borderline offensive. Management allowed and even encouraged a hostile work environment to grow and did nothing about it except to discourage folks from reporting issues under the guise that we needed to be 'professional', despite the ones creating the issues not acting remotely professional. They allowed two men to harass, bully, intimidate and threaten women and queer creators at the company with no repercussions or care for the mental and physical damage such actions were doing to those targeted.

Pros

-Comfortable family environment -Easy to talk & connect w/ other employees -Snacks and coffee/tea -Very open to hear to what equipment/desk things that you need and provide it happily -Opportunity to work on more than just one aspect of comic creation to widen your skillset -Open to give you a project to fit what you'd like to work on

Cons

-Despite the benefits of food and technology, compensation is extremely low compared to the current job market for similar jobs. -Poor planning from management (for both developing a story/comic and other things) -(Getting better but) sometimes not trusting artists on what would work better for a comic/story to flow (more because it is hard to know if the managers understand how comics work on a technical standpoint) -Having to go back and fix mistakes that should have been sorted out earlier in the process -Only a day or two deadline given
