Summer hours on Fridays, good colleagues

Toxic work environment throughout the company from management to human resources. Poor management, no concept of business sense. No communication between departments. Building Science and Structural are like separate companies and are divided, competitive. Has "Christmas Shutdown" when the office is closed but employees are forced to make up the time prior to shutdown in order to be paid or else you are forced to take vacation- even though the office is closed and you could not work if you wanted to. Discourages collaboration and progression. Weeds out employees who express opionions or ideas that are not aligned with management's. No room for growth within the company.
