Pros
One of the best parts of working for Sterling is the people. Most are welcoming and ready to assist you should you need help. Wages are competitive, benefits are great.
Cons
Over the past couple years the job security has become extremely volatile. In fact, at the most recent "town hall" meeting with the big man (CEO), he stated they would be continuing to eliminate jobs over the next 18 months, and the company would soon be ran like a very small company. One of the biggest shocks we've seen yet happened recently when 4 direct sales agents were eliminated. This came as a shock because the sales department is the most important department for bringing in revenue. Also they skipped the normal precedence of eliminating the most recent hires when they eliminated the two oldest employees in the department. We now feel like our loyality is no longer valued.
