Pros

Great colleagues Great opportunities for training

Cons

Very toxic environment Overtime not optional but expected Management prefer to sit in the office whilst we were firefighting with customers in the showroom with 'tell them you're the manager' if they wanted to speak to someone higher up. One manager liked to remind you on everyday basis that he is the manager Senior Management telling us that they are not able to 'feed their children' due to us not hitting our targets Very very high staff turnover due to long hours and bad treatment Dodgy practices in the workshop- we needed to lie to customers on everyday basis about the status of their car At one point there was only 2 service advisors with over 20 customers each, and the business felt that this is enough and did not want to employ anyone new even if we were doing 12+ hour shifts Lowest basic salary than any other groups I've seen

Pros

I have been with the company for over 12 years, starting as a Sales Executive and progressing to my current role as Regional General Manager. That journey alone speaks volumes about the opportunities for growth and internal progression available here. The company has consistently invested in my personal and professional development, providing trust, responsibility, and mentorship at every stage of my career. What truly stands out is the level of personal support shown throughout the years—not only during successful periods, but also through challenging and uncertain times. Leadership has always been approachable and genuinely listened to feedback, and I have seen first-hand how employee input has translated into real, meaningful change. The business itself has evolved significantly over the years, becoming more structured, forward-thinking, and people-focused. Initiatives that recognise loyalty and long-term commitment have been actively introduced, which reinforces a strong sense of belonging. Small but thoughtful touches, such as introducing birthdays off, reflect a company that values its people as individuals, not just employees. Overall, it has been a rewarding and fulfilling place to build a long-term career, with a culture that supports ambition, resilience, and mutual respect.

Cons

As with any growing business, periods of change can be demanding, but these are generally managed with transparency and a willingness to adapt.

Pros

Steven Eagell is an amazing company to work for and without doubt the best company I have worked for. I have been with the business for many years, which really reflects how supportive and rewarding the company culture is. Hard work, loyalty, and commitment are genuinely recognised and appreciated. There are clear pathways for progression, and incentive-based targets that are fair, achievable, and motivating. The company has strong values and a clear vision, with a real focus on developing its people. Management are approachable and supportive, and there is a strong sense of teamwork across the business. Employees are encouraged to grow, improve their skills, and build long-term careers rather than just see the role as a job. The working environment is positive, professional, and well structured, which makes it a great place to succeed.

Cons

Like any fast-paced business, the role can be demanding at times, but the support, recognition, and opportunities provided make it worthwhile.
