1. Upside with PNS (which for the most part insurance doesn't cover).
2. Good commission rate
Cons
1. The owner does not allow senior executives to do anything without her approval...(she even approves all expenses reports and payroll....yes a CEO does this lol).
2. Commissions and bonus payments were NEVER once paid when management said so (due to CEO according to EVP's).
3. SCS technology is the 6th player in a crowded market. Market is DOMINATED by Boston, Medtronic and Abbott. Nevro is a distant 4th, Nuvectra is insignificant and Stimwave is?
4. PNS which is the true advantage with Stimwave is poorly covered by insurers.
5. I was uncomfortable with some of the sales promotion strategies with regard to promoting a "reimbursement financial package".
6. Internal communication went largely unanswered by management.
7. Executives have zero power under CEO control.. she is a brilliant scientist...horrific CEO IMO
8. Company drives clinical training (cadaver labs which makes sense)...yet refuses to pay for an physicians to travel to get trained. Doctors must pay out of pocket or reps pay out of their own pockets.
9. They market a "Wireless" device. Comical... most competitors have a 40-50 cm "wire"... as does Stimwave. In addition Stimwave requires an antenna "wire" of an additional 2 or so feet. They actually have more "wire" than competitors (not including chargers for any of the devices). Fantastic for a "Wireless" device...
10. To me, if this company had legit potential... one of the big dogs would have acquired it already. 4 years post launch...nada.
