Pros

Great place to learn what gaslighting in the workplace looks like.

Cons

Working here was one of the most stressful and toxic experiences of my career. The CEO constantly talked down to people, using her background like a weapon to shut down opinions she didn't agree with. There was a weird, almost cult-like worship around leadership, and if you weren't part of their inner circle, you were invisible or worse, targeted. The workplace had a full-on Mean Girls attitude, fueled by favoritism and verbal jabs disguised as feedback. Weekends were never really yours, and the pressure to constantly be on was suffocating. Micromanagement was out of control, any hope for professional growth got buried under controlling egos and power trips. Honestly, the place felt more like a psychological experiment than job. Total freak show.

Pros

Steady job in the heart of the NYC's Diamond District. You get familiarized with jewelry production so fast. The team is small so you work pretty closely together. There are opportunities to work your way up.

Cons

Information tracking was rather tedious and difficult to track considering there were not many people on the team. Tasks and processes were switched up frequently so there was difficulty in consistencies bewteen different information trackers. Team are dropped in numbers due to unforeseen choices made by management, which put a lot of pressure onto remaining employees. Overall overwhelming and there were difficulties expressing time off needs and work/life balance.
