Pros

Office culture, certain knowledge was gained.

Cons

Where to begin...you don't work "events" you stand out in lower wealth areas OUTSIDE (not mentioned in job listing) pitching a sales pitch to whatever campaign they are running. Insert company name and some sort of low income based thing and thats your script and what you'll be selling. Expect to run into plenty of too poor people who can't qualify and people who have a superior product than what you're selling and it's know. Don't just take my word for it Storm, Inc Raleigh is doing just the same as the reviews say in Jacksonville Fl, read them. You will be successful if you're pushy and willing to sell products (sometimes really bad ones) to people who don't necessarily need it and most of the time would be better without it. Make sure to ask about pay and get specific details about how you get paid and qualifications needed to earn the pay they tell you MAY get. Storm, Inc is a smaller company under a parent company nobody seems to want to tell you who it is, other offices not called Storm, Inc are also under the parent company.

Pros

Everyone is very nice and out going

Cons

They keep the interview and job details as vague as possible so that the position seems interesting, however they fail to mention that you are in fact out side in the sketchiest parts of Jacksonville 8 hours a day in the heat talking to crack heads and homeless people, and people who just got out of jail to try to get them to sign up for insurance. I had to ask twice during my interview what the day to day responsibilities were as it was unclear to me since the manager kept saying oh you just get to talk to people and blah blah blah. Nothing about signing people up for insurance was mentioned. nothing about being outside all day every day was mentioned. They will also tell you that they get back in the office at 530, but you are actually in downtown until 615. I felt unsafe the entire day and there are no bathrooms or anywhere to sit. You are standing and walking around walking up to sketchy people all day. Not sure how this is even a legit company. They also dont eat lunch and constantly get threatened by police for trespassing. On top of that, the training pay is awful.
