Good experience, poor management - Anonymous employee Story Terrace Employee Review

Thank you for the feedback. Based on previous internal employee feedback, management acknowledges that indeed there are a lot of process changes and they actively work to communicate those better. In a startup environment, rapid changes unfortunately are inevitable. It also means that your role may evolve into something different as the company evolves. All current editorial managers - but 1 - started working as project editors at StoryTerrace and have been promoted internally. We trust that they know the processes very well and this will only help further build the editorial team's success. StoryTerrace has a culture that encourages feedback from all stakeholders and management aims to be as transparent as possible. More than in other companies, all changes are widely discussed and explained. It's a tough balance to get right — responding to feedback vs creating too much change — and we are always aiming to improve when we miss the mark. The focus is always to make things better for our editorial team, the customer experience and the business, so that we can achieve our vision of capturing thousands of life stories in beautiful books.
