StratEx Response

StratEx values its employees and respects their opinions and contributions, so these comments are disappointing to see. One of our major values is to be transparent, and with our open-door policy, our aim is for StratExians to have exactly the opposite experience described here. I have worked at StratEx for 8 years. There are definitely times, like during year-end, where we work longer hours and have to work hard, but I believe the efforts are appreciated and are not taken for granted. The best part of the challenging times are the other StratExians- management included- that are willing to pull together to get the job done for our clients. We are far from perfect, but we are always working to improve as a company, and improve the experience of being a StratExian.

Pros

They do a great job of bringing in people that care about their work and are super smart. The issue is that they do not foster them into better employees. There is room to grow, but you have to do more than just work hard. I would recommend StratEx if you are new to the job market and want to pick up some really useful skills to take on to your next employer.

Cons

Communication at every level within this company is awful. Employees are strung along by their management, which is strung along by the c-suite. There is no clear vision in the long term and most of the decisions leadership makes are made out of down to the wire necessity versus foresight and planning. Blatant favoritism is shown to certain employees over others, and salary discrepancies are gossiped about which does nothing but breed resentment and contempt amongst employees. During the interview process everyone is super peppy about how much they love their job and the people they work with, however after a week or more on the job you will quickly hear that story change as colleagues will vocally complain about the workload, the drama, and the lack of support they feel throughout the office. While you do have the ability to talk directly to the CEO and other executives on a daily basis, your suggestions and critiques will not be taken to heart. A polite smile and nod will let you know you've been heard but not listened to.
